Why is our state of balance disrupted so easily?
Modern life offers us many conveniences, our lives are getting simpler and more comfortable day by day. Almost everything is easily accessible and easy to consume. This has both positive and negative aspects.
Our topic today is the reasons for the rush of modern life, the need for everything to be fast and urgent, and our deteriorating mental and physical health in terms of food:
Changing climate conditions, working conditions, increasing population, industrialization, pesticide use and many other factors are reducing the value of our food.
Even if we try to find the most natural ones, the beneficial components in our fruits, vegetables, grains, meat and dairy products are much less than in the old days. This often causes us to load our bodies with unnecessary calories.
There are some examples we know, such as, you need to eat about 10 apples today to get the beneficial content you used to get from just one apple, etc.
Most of us don't even have time to research the ingredients or contents of the things we eat,
Rightfully so, his hand always goes for the quickest solution and the food that will make the administration happy.
It's hard, but even if we get past that and say we've found the most natural and beautiful of everything, that we have access to every truly beneficial food grown on earth, we still fall into the pit where many things are beneficial.
It's very beneficial, let me eat it. While I was trying to eat this very beneficial food, I had to eat one salmon a day, a little plant-based protein, a little animal protein, maybe a little healthy fat from nuts, We need to consume as much healthy products as we can every day, including green vegetables, fruits, etc.
Add to this the humanitarian escapes and things we can grab on bad days, and we end up with a serious calorie surplus.
We try to eliminate this calorie surplus with new diets that come out every day.
This leads us to diet foods with inflated content, powders with protein additives, food supplements, handfuls of vitamins, and so-called healthy foods with sugar removed and sweeteners added.
We say so-called because, unfortunately, many of the supplements that have become trendy lately, protein and smoothie powders, sugar-free bars, and sweetened snacks offered as diet foods do more harm than good to the body.
In fact, when we turn them over and look at the labels, we see that they are full of thickeners, carcinogenic additives, and sweeteners such as stevia, which makes our insulin spike.
Or we start using a multivitamin that contains many things. But while our body needs some of the substances in it, it does not have others, and again we disrupt the balance.
For example, we have all learned what processed food is and why it is harmful and we try to stay away from it, but we do not hesitate to consume these supplements, which are actually no different.
This leaves damage to our nervous and hormonal systems and, through our intestines, to our digestion, which requires a lot of effort to reverse.
In other words, we actually disrupt our holistic balance in this way, even if unintentionally.
In a system that is out of balance
What our body is resistant to,
what a healthy weight we are
nor is it possible for us to feel good in general.
Although the solution is different for each person,
First of all, we should understand stress well and try to control it with the help of nature,
We should return to old and well-established methods in nutrition,
We must listen to our body and mind carefully.
We will continue to explain how we can do these and how we can return our body to a state of balance in our next articles.
